Hey friends,
I trust that you all had a fulfilling and enjoyable Easter holiday! I had a great time reflecting on God’s love and sacrifice, along with spending some quality time with my family. Today, as some inspiration, I will share eight Bible verses that can help with anxiety, worrying and when life gets overwhelming. If you think these verses can help you out, continue reading!
Let’s get into the biblical truth for when life gets overwhelming.
Biblical truths for when life gets overwhelming
1. God will never forsake us
Joshua 1:5(NIV)
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
2. God will comfort us
Psalm 23:4(NIV)
3. God is our salvation
Psalm 27:1(NIV)
4. God is our refuge
Psalm 119:114(NIV)
5. God will help us
Isaiah 41:13(NIV)
6. God will provide for us
Matthew 6:25-27(NIV)
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?27Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
7. Jesus will give us rest
Matthew 11:28-30(NIV)
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
8. Jesus is our peace
John 16:33(NIV)
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
