Hey friends,
May is turning out to be a beautiful month for us. Devin and I have settled down into our home quite nicely. However, there’s still some work left to do. Other than that I have been making progress in my work. To keep me on top of everything, I follow my top productivity tips. These tips do such a great job of keeping me busy and focused.
For today, I thought to share with you my favorite podcasts that I listen to while doing work. Podcasts are such a great way to stimulate the mind instead of thinking idle thoughts sometimes. These podcasts are great for Christian women and share some valuable tips and ideas too!
If you want to add some podcasts to your list, keep reading!
Favorite podcasts for Christian women
1. Homemaking foundations
The homemaking foundations podcast is an excellent resource for all Christian women to listen to. As the name suggests, it is geared more towards married women and mothers. However, single women can learn so much from this podcast also. Jamie (the host) gives a lot of helpful advice on how to be a great homemaker and mother while staying motivated and close to God. It is definietly a must have in your podcast library!
2. Titus 2 minute
The Titus 2-minute podcast is similar to homemaking foundations. They are both hosted by Jamie Balmet and are geared towards motivating Christian women in homemaking and wifehood. The difference is that Titus 2 minute episodes are shorter than homemaking foundations. This podcast is great if you do not have 30+ minutes to listen to a full episode.
3. Setapartgirl
This podcast is excellent for women of all backgrounds. It is geared towards all women (instead of only wives or mothers). The hosts bring up some very important topics of today and discuss them from a biblical perspective. They cover topics such as purity, romantic relationships, biblical living and much more. Setapartgirl can be an excellent resource for single girls in their walk with God.
Note: I am suggesting that adult single women can listen to this podcast for guidance and mentoring. It would be safer for parents of younger daughters to go through the podcast to see if the topics are appropriate for their daughters. Maybe mothers and daughters could listen to the podcast together to dig deeper into a topic they are discussing together.
4. Women of the Bible
Women of the Bible, made by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, is a great resource for studying topics throughout the Bible. The podcast focuses on biblical women in particular and shows us how they lived through the same things that we are facing in today’s world. We can all find encouragement from these godly women from our past and learn how to become like them. I think this is an excellent podcast to listen to in your quiet times to reflect on biblical womanhood.
5. Revive our hearts
Revive our hearts is another podcast by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. This one has encouragement on how to live a life pleasing to God. It covers areas such as ministry, staying motivated while living for God, mentoring and so much more. Another one of Nancy’s podcasts to mention is Seeking Him. This has 1-minute episodes about all topics of Christianity and womanhood. Its goal is to stimulate your mind so that you can dig deeper on the topics mentioned. Both podcasts are great to keep handy while Seeking Him is definitely for your busier days!
6. The briefing
I recently found this podcast, and I am happy I did. I have been trying to find Christian news sources to follow. Unfortunately, the media is so corrupt and focuses on things that I rather not bring into my life. Therefore, the briefing came at the best time. Albert Mohler takes you through the current news headlines while discussing it with a Christian’s world view. In my opinion, he doesn’t waste time on less important topics and focuses on issues that we as Christians should be paying attention too.
In the end, the news always has controversial topics, but I do find his podcast helpful with filtering through all the crazy reports that we are fed every day.
7. Faithful life
Faithful life podcast is one of the new items in my library. However, I have followed the hosts Matthew and Lisa Jacobson for a while now. They are a great influence when it comes to godly marriages, parenting, and living. Their new podcast brings up some important topics of today and answers questions that we all have. I encourage you to check them out if you haven’t already! You may find some inspiration.
Final thoughts
I encourage you all to try out these podcasts. They are full of inspiring and helpful information that will bring you closer to God. If there are any more podcasts worth mentioning for Christian women, please leave them in the comments below!
Until next time,
